About the Author

Katherine Saad Feghali, the author of Glass Cedars, was born in Beirut to Lebanese American parents. She studied at the American University of Beirut, the University of Texas at Austin and earned a Masters of Science degree in Industrial Psychology at California State University, Long Beach. She has worked in ergonomics, human resources and management consulting in both the U.S. and Lebanon.

Kathy visits Lebanon frequently and is the founder of Education and Opportunities for Lebanon (EOL) a charitable organization that provides support for Lebanese students across the country. EOL has helped over 18,000 students.

Kathy lives in McLean, VA with her husband and has four children.
